Help Optimus V - Getting back to dialer

I was on a conference call today using Groove IP, and I went to check my email and could not get back to the dialer to unmute my call. When I pressed the phone icon, it would open a new dialer, but the bluetooth/mute/Speaker buttons were not at the bottom. How do I get back to that screen? Any help will be appreciated!

You can get back to that screen from the notification icon. Just click the notification icon and it will bring you back to the in call screen.
