Optimus V vs. VM Intercept

Me and my friend both have the VM Intercept except he got the update and well I haven't. I compared my friend's Intercept vs my brother's LG Optimus V. With the 2.2 Update, my friend's Intercept runs just as fast as my brother's LG Optimus V. Games like Angry Birds work perfectly on my friends's Intercept. I made my decision that the Intercept is better than the Optimus V. I'm looking foward to also receiving 2.2 on my phone.

I really don't want to come off as rude, but it really isn't even close to being better spec and performance wise and you really should have gotten the optimus.

Agreed the V is far superior,Samsung make great TV's but that is pretty much where it ends.

Ive had my optimus for two weeks now. I love this phone. I think it looks cosmetically better than the intercept and it definately performs better. The intercept guys saying they can't wait til froyo comes out for their phones so it will be even or make the intercept "better" must have forgot the optimus is getting gingerbread LOL.

The 2.2 update royally screwed up my intercept (unusable). Would ramp up to 155MB of ram used (out of 160) and wouldn't react to any button pushes. Got a Optimus on the way and sending back the intercept. The guy on the phone said that there were lots of problems coming up from the 2.2 update. I'm not seeing them on the web, but the tech guy taking the calls is a pretty good source.

Anyway... 2.2 on intercept (for me) was NOT the answer.
