Help optimus v

I'm having issues with the phone screene not working correctly. Example: in land scape if I push the letter K the letter C will appear and if I push the delete button, an X will pop up.
Then all of the sudden it'll work fine for a little bit.
It's like it needs to be recalibrated. My first andriod phone so I know nothing about all this stuff.

update... I called Virgin mobile to see ifthey could tell me how to recalibrate the phone and they are sending me a new one

They're making you send the old one back right? Are they making you send it back first or after you get your new phone?

They send you a pre marked envelope with the replacement part and you send the bad part back.

in the mean time, try a factory data reset if you haven't done it yet. it can't hurt since you are getting a new phone anyway. It does erase everything that didn't come on the phone though!
