Help Option "Move to SD Card" Completely Missing

Link2sd works for me. I can't install huge games but I can install regular games and apps even with just using a FAT32 on the second partition. If you get the pay version of link2sd, and make the second, app partition ext3 or another supported Unix filesystem, you can move more of the app to the SD card, being the data. I haven't done that yet but I'm planning on it. It works well for me even without that extra feature.

Why not root and use the app2sd guide? Works like a miracle

Because I have the uncomfortable feeling that rooting will mess up my Virgin Mobile service. Are you saying this won't screw anything up? Because I'm not a hacker who's into tweaking for the sake of tweaking - or even more than once! :) I just want to be able to have apps on my phone without constantly running out of space.

Rooting isn't 100% safe so I don't blame you. I know I'm taking a chance. It doesn't mean you have to though. There's a disclaimer on rooting instructions and software for a reason.

i can assure you it wont mess with your service. most errors are from the user not following the directions. rooting for this device is the easiest ive encountered. it is definitely worth doing. i have a bunch of large apps on my phone and still only using 225mb. if you follow the directions carefully it will be a breeze.

While I am tech savvy in some things, rooting isn't one. However I bit the bullet yesterday, successfully rooted my phone, and am using link2SD to move apps. The whole process took maybe half an hour.

I followed this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHSjOwECeQA, and once he got to the rooting section it was very easy. He spent the first few minutes trying to update-which confused me-but watch the whole video first.

Also watch the video for partitioning your SD card. In order to use the link2SD app, you will need to partition it.

If this phone ever gets a CM rom then you wont have to worry about link2sd or aparted. I hope some day for a CM rom or slimrom

Someone please please help!!! I have a samsung exhibit t599...rooted using vroot anf seemed to work fine only the two apps it was supposed to install were not there. No problem right...im pretty tech savvy...so I dowloaded supersu...no apps configured so I thought maybe the root didnt work so I did it again...still nothing with supersu...so then I start reading about cwm and rom toolbox pro and rom manager...get rom manager but it needs cwm...well no version of cwm for my phone...so moving on I get rom toolbox pro and omg still no option available to move apps to sd card...its there only not for me to click. So suffice it to say I am tech savvy limited to the pc...this phone and android crap has me so frustrated. I just want to free up some space on my phone and send to my sd card...any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
