Root Orange branded - FroydVillian 1.5

Hey I have an Orange branded Hero on 2.1

Am I able to Root to the FroydVillian 1.5 Rom and if so, how?

If you have a look at the sticky at the top of this sub forum, its a rooting guide. have a read through it. Once you're rooted you can install any Hero custom ROM including froyd villain.

Read the guide, but basically Yes

1) Downgrade your firmware using the HTC ROM and Sync process found on HTC

2) Run Instaroot

3) Use flashrec to bachup your recovery image and flash the Amron recover image

4) Download a ROM of choice (VR12 or Froyd 1.5 recommended here)

5) Flash said ROM from your recovery menu

Does flashrec work on 2.1?

I've been recommending clockwork mod for 2.1 users, but I prefer flashrec.
