Root orange

Hi guys, just started having trouble the last couple of days recieving txts. I haven't changed anything with phone (running redux), so suspect it could be network issues with orange. My question is i'm a bit hesitant to phone them incase they send me some new settings through which may f**k up my root, or would this be different from ota update settings? :confused:

hey dude, im having issues recently with orange too, especially with messages.
Are you by any chance have issues recieving them? till you text someone then you get all your messages? Doesn't happen all the time, just at the most important.

Also running Redux. if they were to send you settings, it would be new MMS/Internet Settings. When i called up about this problem once before i got the usual rubbish, oh a tower is down in your area.
 
and i'm supposed to get good 3g coverage in my area...that's an effing joke, wont be going to orange again.
 
Mine aint bad, for the most part.
it's like it knows when i really need to look up something, then decides to go "NO!" then have a strop with me.

Oh quick Edit.

When i was on the phone to Orange about the problem, he said put it in Airplane mode, then take it out, forces it to reconnect to a tower, with hope, a better one :P
 
Soon as i can, im leaving Orange. Considering Vodafone. but il take a look around. I hear O2 are good, but back when i was on em ( Around 10 years ago or so ) The signal was rubbish.
 
i was considering o2 next, only ones i haven't been with yet. Really want to swallow my pride and go back to vodafone, but i left them when they really p****d me off.
 
oh? iv heard they are really good, though just recently a mate of mine left them for Tmobile, saying they wasnt bother that she had been with them for a good number of years.
 
so had i. until i was due another upgrade and they wouldn't give me anything i wanted saying "that deals for new customers only", when i'd been paying my bills on time for years. utter b****cks!
 
ahhh, so if you are new, they will take it up the bum for ya, but once you had been there a while, they say they have a headache..pretty much.. :(
