Order Shipment status from Motorola Store...

Well for me it is still no Xoom and still no tracking number. I checked the UPS and FedEx websites just now and the reference number does not go through either after trying all 3 different numbers on each website.

Again to refresh, I ordered on Thursday, February 24th at 6:49PM EST with Standard Shipping and it is going to New Jersey.

I will just keep looking.
I ordered right around the same time, and still never got my shipment confirmation/tracking e-mail. However, I logged into my account, and sure enough, the "track your package" button is there.

My XOOM, speaker dock, and keyboard shipped. They'll be here tomorrow by 4:30pm.

They seem to send that email about 10-12 hours after the item has shipped. No idea why but you'll probably get it soon.

The one thing I learned from this experience: I will never buy another thing from the Motorola store again!

I placed my order on the 24th, shortly after the coupon went live. When I checked the next day, I was excited to see that the item had (supposedly) shipped and would be arriving between 2/28 - 3/1. However, like most of you, I did not receive a tracking number.

As the beginning of this week rolled around, I checked again, thinking I should probably be getting a tracking number very soon. Nothing. I called on Monday, but it was clear that the agent really had no idea what was going on. He said it should be shipping in a day or two. Still nothing.

On 3/2, I called again since I still had no tracking number. Again, the representative told me it should be "shipping soon". At this point, I am ready to cancel my order, especially since I paid for 1-day shipping and it had almost been a week! Unfortunately, the rep could NOT cancel my order because he said it was already in the "shipping process". He said if I wanted to cancel the order, I should refuse delivery, which I planned to do.

Late last night, I finally get a tracking number and the item was set for delivery today (3/3). I refused delivery and called Motorola back again. After going through the menu, being on hold, and talking with an agent, I was hung up on and had to call back (this happened the other day as well). Finally, I got through to someone again. I explained to them that I refused delivery and wanted to initiate the refund process. She put me on hold for nearly 5 minutes and finally came back to tell me they would be sending me instructions on how to return the item with an RMA. I reiterated to her that I do NOT have the item and that I refused delivery like I was told to do the day before when I called. She put me on hold for another 5 minutes. Finally, she said I would get an e-mail confirming my return but that the credit card would not be credited for 4-6 weeks!!! I can understand having to wait until the item gets back to Motorola, but 4-6 weeks????

Needless to say, I will never be shopping from Motorola.com again and would caution anyone against it as well.
this is how it works, you refuse the item but you dont call and then ask for a refund. it has to be returned and then they process it. I think 4-6 days not weeks is what they meant.

Why the hell you order and then try to cancel anyway. you saved $200?

Folks, the delays seem more likely due to VZW finance agreeing on how to manage the loss on their P&L and if to actually ship them in the first place (smart to go ahead an do it). If even just 1,000 ordered at the lower cost, it has to be explained and perhaps even accrued as a loss for next quarter, rather than eating it now.

I'm curious to find out how many got that deal? Wonder how high it was.

Its really upsetting me that I don't have mine yet.

Its not so much that its delayed, its that they are so opaque about the whole process. They have my email, I have gotten no confirmation whatsoever from them. No tracking. My credit card hasn't been charged. When I call they tell me Fed Ex hasn't picked up yet.

I try to clarify and I ask if my xoom is in a box waiting to be picked up or if they have even tried to ship it yet. They say fed ex hasn't picked it up... next day still no pickup (BS).

Its very frustrating, regardless the price you paid for it, the store has an obligation to meet their orders in a timely manner. 7 days to ship an item is unheard of. Over the phone they told me its not a stock problem either.

I just logged into the website. I have always had that Track Your Package link on the left side but when I click on it, it still only says View Order. So I guess that I still have to wait.

I just called the 866 number at the bottom of the order confirmation and was told that my shipment has "yet to be picked up." My account stated expected deliver March 1 or 2nd, and of course no dice. She said expect an email with tracking information in the next day or two. I still have a week to return my originally purchased Xoom to BB, not panicking yet. I feel for you all that are sitting empty handed.

For those who have gotten theirs, did you have to sign for it?

About to step out of the house to grab some food, but worried with my luck it'll come while I'm out.

I'm taking off work tomorrow just for that reason. Yea, i'm addicted to tech. I have two hours in the bank so I only need 6 hours of vacation. I'll spend it getting the Xoom set up so ya'll don't go nowhere tomorrow. I'll be coming here for info and answers. :)

Mine is shipping today or I should say my wife's as I picked one up on day one from BB. In the end...every one needs to relax. I don't mind waiting 10 days if it means saving $200. That being said, there is no excuse for miss information from CS. However, at the end of the day we will all get the Xoom at a huge discount and waiting a few extra days will not kill you. Go play outside in the sun or something :)

I received mine this AM and still haven't been charged. So who knows what order they do things.

I'm very certain the CSR said "4-6 weeks" for a refund, but 4-6 days after they receive the returned package would be acceptable. As I mentioned, they are the ones who recommended delivery refusal the day before when I called. Of course, at that time they made no mention of 4-6 weeks for a refund!

My reason for canceling is because 1) I paid for 1-day shipping and had to wait nearly a week before it shipped, 2) because I was very unhappy with the first few calls I made to Motorola support, and 3) I #*&$#(% $! #$@ $%% *&# 2 #$&*#!@. But that's my business and totally unrelated to my customer service experience with Motorola. ;)

Just got a call form Motorola. It was from their Corporate Consumer Advocacy Office. The lady was very nice and apologized again for the delay. She stated they would try to change the delivery while its enroute so I could get it faster. She also did offer me free accessories. I am getting a free porfolio case and a travel charger. I think this more than makes up for my aggrevation.

I just received a email from Motorola that my order has shipped but it doesn't have a tracking number and I have yet to be charged. Hopefully with all this confusion they got the shipping method correct and send it to me overnight.

So at 8:03pm EST, I got an email from Motorola saying that my order has shipped.

I originally ordered on Thursday, February 24th at 6:49pm EST and selected only the Xoom without any accessory. The shipping method I selected was Standard.

So the Tracking Number that I received in the email is for UPS but when I go to the UPS website it does not register.

If anyone has any more questions about my order than just let me know and I will try and answer.

I am sure you verified this, however could it be a FedEx number? I received my shipment confirmation email tonight and mine is arriving via FedEx.

Best of luck!

I am certain that it is coming UPS. It says so right in the email. I also read that people who ordered with Standard Shipping get it through UPS.
