Order Shipment status from Motorola Store...

Yea I figured so. I am excited that it is on its way. Anyone order with Standard Shipping through UPS? I am curious as to how many days between receiving the email and delivery. Also I am wondering if they have Saturday delivery as I had it sent to my office instead of home.

Depends on your office. And I think you might have had to ask for sat. delivery, though i'm not sure.
 
After anxiously waiting like everyone else on this forum, I ordered with the 25% off, standard shipping, I received the tracking number yesterday about 1 AM with an estimated delivery date of Tuesday (3/8/11). I just checked again today and its out for delivery today!! I'm so pumped.

Shipped to Orange County, NY
 
I just got a chance to checkout the UPS website again this morning. Now my tracking number is up and running. The package was last check in Mesquite, TX at 11pm last night. It is scheduled for delivery in New Jersey for Tuesday end of day.

Just to recap, I had the Standard Shipping and got an email with Tracking Number last night around 8pm EST.

Yep, when it ships, your tracking number will be there.

So I FINALLY got my email last night- I'm so pumped!!!! Tracking info still just says that the label's been created, but it hasn't actually moved yet, so I'm still waiting on that. No estimated ship date, just Amazon's original estimation of somewhere between the 2nd and the 7th. But it said the same thing when the original Amazon ship date showed the 25th, so who knows when it'll really come.

In other news....

I still haven't been charged for it. Yes, I realize that I just royally jinxed myself, but we'll see what happens. I even deleted the credit card that I used from my saved payment methods, just in case that does anything for me at all. Fingers crossed, and as @charliesheen would say....

Haha I like that, unfortunately for you though when you placed the order they received your credit card info, so I don't think deleting it would do it....but if it does all the power to you....I'm considering doing the same now lol (j/k the hold is still in place :( )

Yea I know.. The last 4 digits of my card still appear on the order page. I'm just hoping there's a one in a million chance of the system glitching or something. With all the shipping craziness, Moto Central must be a cluster f right now lol.
 
I called yesterday and was really upset. Got upgraded to next day shipping. Received my xoom today. Problem is I planned on selling it, but now... I am too tempted I might want to keep it. I have to somehow convince my better half I should keep it.
 
I ordered one from Motorola last night with the $100 coupon, and selected two-day shipping to make sure I would receive it before the 14 day return window on my Best Buy Xoom ran out.

Today, the estimated date of arrival is March 8-9. Apparently Motorola has a very different interpretation of "two days" than I do.

Has it shipped and it is the weekend. They don't count as shipping days.

It has not shipped. Also, both UPS and FedEx deliver on Saturdays, so only Sundays should factor into it.

I took a closer look at the order page and the estimate for when the item will actually ship is between today and March 7. So the delay is on Motorola's end. This isn't completely out of the ordinary - I've ordered several items from Amazon that have taken a few days to process before they've shipped. But normally this is disclosed beforehand, so people don't waste money paying for expedited shipping.

Also, is there a reason Motorola charges sales tax but Amazon does not?
 
got mine a couple hours ago. i havent taken any of the plastic off yet so i can get a good idea of screen quality. But over all its built nice and i like honeycomb a ton so far. I got work tonight so more playing will wait til tomorrow
 
I'm liking mine so far. Just need some minor fixes. We need a permanent fix for the desktop view of web sites. And I'm not sure how to get the desktop clock to dim for night time like when using it as an alarm clock. Ill finish my review in the appropriate thread.

I tried to get faster shipping but they said they couldn't do it. The lady who called me last night said if it hadn't shipped she would've had a better chance upgrading shipping for free. Ohh well I am hoping UPS ground speeds up a bit so I can get it sooner.
 
I am not trying to rub this in on those of you who purchased on Feb 24 or so....

I ordered my Xoom last night with the $100 off code. The amazon/motorola link from the email says shipped March 3rd (yesterday) but nothing further is shown.

I used the method posted earlier in this thread to find Motorola's order number...I used that as the reference number in Fedex's website (I paid for one day shipping) and BOOM! There it is! says package was picked up today and will be here monday.

Just wanted to share this info with those who have purchased more recently. I apologize to those who have had the poor experience with motorola....here's hoping you receive yours soon.
