Order Status for those who order online on sprint last night

nothing here either, the postman came and went and no phone! argh, just talked to their customer service and they have no clue.
 
Ordered my EVO via the Sprint website as a hardware upgrade on Friday 06/04/2010 and received it today Monday 06/07/2010 via UPS. That was FAST and EASY.
 
Just do what i did, i just got free $25 credit :D:D

I'm just going to cancel the order and move on, unacceptable to have a new customer waiting for days when paid next day shipping. Sprint must not want new customers, not happy with the way they handled my order.

You already gone through most of the waiting, you just need one more day. $25 credit is good enough for me to wait an extra day. We already waited the whole weekend.
 
I also called USPS. The lady told me that they've put a search out on the package, which makes it a priority or something. She also said if I don't get it today, I can pick it up at my local post office (which is literally across the street) at 8 AM. Which is great, except I'm taking a 2-hour day trip out of town at 8 AM, so even if I do pick up the phone, I won't be able to play with it until that evening. Le sigh.
 
I didn't receive mines either today. I'm so upset i chatted with a sprint representative but they said they had process everything and that i needed to call USPS and wen i do they said that they haven't it scan it yet so its sprint fault. I about to just call and cancel my order

Don't give up. Thats exactly what they said so my response was

I have already contacted USPS and they told me to call sprint. Coming to sprint and trying to get my problem solved is my last resort before canceling the contract.
 
Okay so for the people who didn't' receive the EVO's based off the guaranteed delivery dates from USPS, i contacted USPS and they said they can't do anything and told me to wait 24 hours. I then talked to sprint VIA chat for over 30 minutes and complained. They told me that if it does not arrive today, they will credit me $25.

Did the exact same thing. Took about 3 calls and all, but the phone will be here Wednesday instead of today and I get $25 credit.

It's incredibly frustrating that the phone wasn't overnighted like it said on the site, but I was getting it overnight for free. Kinda sucks, makes me not sure if this company is worth leaving ATT for. Except for the fact that I dropped two calls today on ATT and it's worth trying Sprint.
 
I received my phone today (ordered at midnite est on friday).. took a couple of days since I had to fax additional info to them to secure my corporate discount, but phone arrived today via UPS.

However.. because I ported my number from VZW, it is still not activated. Anyone who ported have it activated already? Wondering how long it takes to port from VZW.. eager to be rid of them after a decade!

how do you know you will receive the phone on Wednsday, because i have called both sprint and USPS and they cant give no more info then you should had receive the phone today
 
I've never hated UPS so much until TODAY. My fiance has taken the day off to get our phones and overnight mine to me. She sat around all day constantly texting/calling me telling me how bored she was.

I checked the tracking number constantly throughout the day. At 6:04 the site updated and said that they tried to deliver. That is a LIE! I called UPS and they insist they tried to deliver it. I wanted to make arrangements for my fiance to pick them up but they said I needed to give her a signed letter release letter which is IMPOSSIBLE cause we aren't in the same state.

They are really pissing me off!

*Update*: The stupid driver attempted to deliver to the apartment complex NEXT to mine. All of these complexes have HUGE numbers on them. I don't see how this could happen.

I'm mad also. I wanted to make sure my account had 15% off so i called them and they gave me the full price per month without the discount so i complained until they double checked my order. Then i was worried about the $50 invoice credit per phone and they said they don't have any promotions like that. I said do yuo want me to copy and paste you my receipt for this order? He kept saying no so i copied and pasted it to him and told him i used the promo code "SAVE50" and he was like that only works for online. I said are you stupid?! You just checked my order and its clearly an online order. Now he says to fax over the receipt to them for confirmation -_- what the fk is this
 
Ordered via sprint.com 6/4 06:30 CT. Received @ 14:15 CT today 6/7.

Existing customer. Shiped from KY, sent to Kansas City.

Simple. Sweet. Sprint!
 
mine phone is lost! USPS doesn't know where it is, sprint has no clue :( goodbye Sprint, back to ATT

i really hope they didn't lost mines and i get it tomorrow otherwise i will cancel my line. Only those lucky ones that sprint decided to use UPS with got there phone today.
 
Another update about my problem.

They wouldn't redeliver so they let my fiance pick up the phones without the signed release letter.

Then they first said she couldn't overnight it to me anymore but a manager stepped in and guaranteed it would get here by 10:30am.

Yay for me!

This happened to me when I had UPS deliver my launch day iPhone 3GS. The guy didn't show up, and when I checked my status it said "Delivery attempt failed." I called immediately and told UPS that I had been practically sitting by my door all day and never saw the UPS guy, but here it says he attempted to deliver and couldn't. They gave me the runaround and eventually I had to pick it up myself the next day. Total pain in the ass. But it appears like I'm not getting much better treatment from USPS either.
 
However.. because I ported my number from VZW, it is still not activated. Anyone who ported have it activated already? Wondering how long it takes to port from VZW.. eager to be rid of them after a decade!

Call Sprint and ask them to port your number. I had the exact same thing happen to me when I ported over from T-Mobile. I just called them and told them I had the phone but my number hasn't ported yet, and they were able to complete the port that day. 1-888-211-4727

Not always. I ordered the munute (literally) that the EVO showed up on Sprint.com. It got a tracking number friday for UPS. I checked all weekend and it just said "UPS has recieved billing information". Called today and REP said that UPS picked it up this morning. WTF I was one of the first to order and others (even some with needed addition info) had their shipped out but my preapproved additional line order sat at the warehouse all weekend. And guess what UPS site still says. "billing info recieved". I had no choice for shipping. My EVP plan calls for free shipping and it always (4 phones) showed up the next day. Gonna have to try for that $25 credit that I have been seeing tossed around.

Told me. Apparently instead of overnight shipping they sent it Priority. So they told me either Tuesday or Wednesday.
