Order Status for those who order online on sprint last night

I got my usps tracking and all it really says is that it will be guaranteed delivered by june 8th. I was hoping for today but i guess i will have to wait tomorrow. :/
 
After talking to sprint, they confirmed that my phone hasn't even been shipped!!! they also claimed there is no way to cancel the line until i receive the phone or refuse the package. USPS is supposed to deliver it within 5 days. and this is with overnight shipping. Pathetic service from sprint :(
 
I called USPS for a third time and was told that this search they put on my package would take up to 24 hours(?!). That's government efficiency for you.

I'm calling Sprint back now to give them a piece of my mind. I didn't mind waiting till Monday to get the phone because I saved a lot of money in total. But had I known I would have been jerked around like that, I would have just stood in line somewhere Friday morning.
 
I've never heard of Sprint shipping phones through USPS..I ordered my Evo this past Saturday morning and it was shipped today via UPS Next Day Air..I've always had phones from Sprint shipped via UPS..that's strange some of you guys' phones are being shipped via USPS..
 
Ordered mine 10 am on 6/5. Didn't have to go through an approval process. Chatted with Sprint today and they gave me a tracking number for UPS 2nd Day Air. I live just outside of Philadelphia, and the package shipped from Louisville, KY today. Had an original delivery date of 6/9 but they updated the delivery date to 6/8. I'm off tomorrow so I am hoping I get it! I used my mom's and sister's this weekend and can't wait to get mine.
 
Ordered mine June 3rd 11:05ish pm Central time on Sprint.com. They shipped via UPS Next Day Air Saver and it was delivered today at 12:03 pm Central Time. I have been crying since
 
ordered mine the approx 530am on launch morning, pacific time. Delivered today, Mon...and I'm about to root the darned thing...and flash Froyo!!!
 
Ordered mine online yesterday morning on Sprint.com.

Tracking info says it's on the UPS truck for delivery to my office today. From Louisville to California overnight - love it!

This beats my alternative -- I put my name on a waiting list at a nearby Sprint store on Saturday. They said they'd call "when one was available for me." It's Tuesday and I still haven't heard from them.
 
Ordered mine yesterday (Monday at 1.30pm) over the phone....Delivered via UPS 2.00pm today !!! That was fast...quite impressed with Sprint service.

What the shit? I went to Radioshack on the 4th, they were out so I ordered one there sent to my house. They said it would get there by today but I look at the order tracking and it says it's still at "the DC" which I assume means distribution center. So it hasn't even shipped yet. Nice. Yeah, first post is a gripe.
 
My shipping info was updated from wed. to today 12pm. I just got back from the doctor after 12pm but I didn't see any notice. He usually comes around 3pm... got my fingers crossed.
 
Did any of you guys buy the phone only, at the 450 price point? I ordered through wirefly and they are taking eons to ship.
 
Mine still hasn't gotten here, I ordered very early Friday morning. USPS tracking said it left Louisville yesterday, but I still haven't gotten it. So much for overnight service. :rolleyes:
 
To the people who ordered online over the weekend and have received the phone already; were you already Sprint customers? I'm trying to understand how some people could have ordered last week and still not have received theirs.:confused:

I am baffled too.
I got an email about 11PM on Friday with my new account and phone number, and it said that the EVO had actually shipped just before 2PM on Friday. USPS tracking says it just left Louisville yesterday, so I don't know who to believe.
 
Finally! My EVO has made its way to the USPS hub in Atlanta, and that surely means it will be here tomorrow. I guess overnight means 5 days when Sprint and USPS join forces. ;)
