Help Ordered 8 gb...think I got a 16

Not complaining, but when I go to storage settings it shows me as having a total of 13.43gb available.

I ordered it off amazon(had a $210 amazon gift card). I double checked the size that I ordered and it says they shipped an 8gb.

The 8gbs are selling for like 240 on amazon though so I guess I didn't get that much of a deal.

Oh well, I'm stoked! :D
 
That's the second case in 2 days. Although the guy yesterday got a replacement from Google and his checkout info said 16 as well, tho he sent in an 8 for replacement. Are they out of 8GB units? If so, I think I'll order about 10 of those :D
 
Why would you pay more than $200 for an 8GB, and if it says it has 13 plus GB's free, then there is no way it is an 8GB, Check to see also if you got the $25 play store credit on your account. Also if you paid $240 that is the price of the 16 GB.

It is really sounding tempting to get a 16gb for $199. I wonder if these are a new batch from the manufacturer also.

Check Amazon's pricing. Its up around 275 for the 16gb.

I know its more expensive than Google, but as ,mentioned above I had an amazon gift card that I needed to use.

I paid $40 out of pocket for my 16gb nexus. And yes I got the credit

The strange thing is it even says 8gb on the sealed box it came in.
 
Nice! I'm noticing some ever so slight screen separation on the left side, but not enough to return it. If I push it down it seems to stay.
 
Why order it off Amazon for the $240 tag if it's available on the Play Store for $199? I'm confused.

Was already addressed above. I had $210 amazon gift card with free 2 day shipping. $40 out of pocket is much cheaper than $200-250. Google charges you for shipping and tax

Lucky! I can't imagine every going for the 8gb in the first place though that's extremely limiting (13gb is bad enough haha)
 
Google best be refunding my shipping money. Ordered it last Wednesday, says 2 Day Air, It's Monday and almost UPS cut off time and still not here.
