Well this is not my first post... but since my previous post was about getting advice on a new phone and I have now ordered one I thought I'd say "Hi" here.
Just ordered a Droid X earlier today from Walmart's wireless division (Letstalk). Phone was $90 and they just started a promo that they will mail you a $100 Walmart Gift card with purchase of any smartphone. So basically free phone + $10
I went ahead and chose 2-Day air shipping and according to the UPS Tracking should have my phone tomorrow!!!
I've been using a Samsung Omnia for the past 18 months or so, ready to get rid of that!
I think I'll keep the phone stock for a few weeks and just play with apps and games and stuff... Then look into rooting, custom ROM, etc.
I know I want Angry Birds and WordFeud from playing with friends phones...
Anyway............. Glad to be joining the Android Community.
