Help Orientation Sensor not working

Any idea on how to get the screen orientation sensor working. Not worked for a while actually, had it rooted then changed it back.

I use Launcher Pro plus if that makes any difference

Oh.. and another thing.. I am still stuck on 1.32.405.6

I did a RUU flash to get it back to normal (not rooted) and it has updated once. Now it's saying there are no updates for the phone

Did you check settings/display, is the auto rotate screen box checked?

They pulled the 2.2.1 (172.xxx.x) update.
GB will be along this month they say...

Thanks guys. That's cleared up the worry that I won't get any more updates post root. And it was the setting, ticking the box fixed it, suprised it wasn't on by default
