Help Original market's gone. How do i get market back?

Hey.. I have a problem with my Xperia X8. I rooted it because i wanted free apps. Anyways. I downloaded a apk. "Old or new market" So i tested it, and my main market is now gone. My phone is unrooted now. And i cant download any market from somewhere else because it just says it cant open package file. And when i try to reinstall the "packageinstaller" from system/app. It just says installing then it stops and i dont get a done message. So something seems to be wrong. Is it the root that did it or the program i mentioned before? I got market now. Veneding apk. But it just force close me everytime i go to market. Any ideas how to fix this?

If the phone is not rooted then I'd suggest to try the Repair Phone option on the PC Companion to see if that helps to get the market back to your phone.
