Here i have built cwm 6 for the design 4g.
this is a CWM Flashable Zip

This is still a beta test. not the final product
but i want you guys to see progress is being made.

*** known issues ***
USB storage not mounting... will be fixed in final release

i have tested. flashing, backup, restore, format all work

Installed it seams to work great! Altho other then a higher number what exactly does this newer version bring? Just more compatibility because its newer?
 
Nope, I just did a backup & it said cwm 6.0....with no errors .... Awesome droid figure !
............oops! Spoke 2 soon yes I got the error message .........still made a backup ...

Nice, I just loaded this on my Evo Design and No Problems so far....

Updating: Jan 24, 2013, errors

1). Phone boots into recovery when powering off.
2). When doing a back up it stops at creating a checksum or at the last stage a error comes up.
3). Won't let me go back to 5027 says the CID error.

It restores my first backup , CWM 5......, but not the CWM 6......, I'm just letting the devs know how our phones reacts with the stuff we're running (roms/kernels)....etc.....like it so far , can't wait 4 the finished product !!!!!!

Official CWM ROM Manager got update:
"5.5.1.4 External SD card support is fixed on devices running Android 4.0+ and CWM 6+."
may be it's also our issue ;)
 
anyone can help, ive been having a strange issue, i know its gotta be related to the device tree.

any aosp build i make, it fully boots, has sound, responds to touch. but absolutly no video at all.

its not my kernel, my kernel runs cm10 mint
 
On the miui rom there was a similar problem but there was video but playback was green it had something to do with the gles maybe thats Whats the problem
 
what he means is the display stays black. Nothing on screen at any point (im assuming?, im not sure if the bootanimation pops up or not)
