OTA 4.1.1 update - help!!

I've searched and couldn't find any help on this. So I got the 4.1.1 OTA update this afternoon. After the update, I've got all kinds of problems!

  • Notification bar is gone, no notification tray
  • Can only change to live wallpapers -- won't switch to pictures
  • Incoming phone calls don't show the answer screen -- phone just rings
That's all I've got for now, but they're showstoppers.

Can anyone offer advice please?

Try a factory reset. After the ICS update, a few people had a few issues and a factory reset fixed it. Assuming you have sync on, it will restore your settings and contacts as soon as you enter your gmail when you boot it up. Your apps will be deleted but everything on the SD will be untouched.

Yup. Did the trick. Thanks! It's just a shame it required a full reset.

I always do a factory reset after a major update to the firmware. It fixes a lot of issues and my JB version is working great - much smoother just like expected.

I am having a problem with BW not working properly, but I figure BW needs to be updated. Other than that, all is good.
:)
