OTA or Kies?

Hey all, before the GNex I had a Samsung Captivate and it was quite possibly the worst phone I have ever owned. Anyways, I needed Samsung Kies to update the phone. Is this the same deal with The GNex? Or should I expect any updates to be OTA? I am sure this has been asked, but any ETA on a Kies/OTA to 4.0.4? My old Captivate did not get Gingerbread until just last week!

Nope. Kies is used (AFAIK) only on Samsung devices with TouchWiz. All updates on the Nexus will be OTA.
