OTA ROM update

I started seeing OTA ROM update available notification on my Note.
Now, I am rooted and jailbroken, and from what I know from my Charge, you can NOT OTA update over custom ROM.

Is it same case for Note 2? I have Jelly beans. What throws me off is that it says "OTA ROM"

Thoughts?

That notification title is interesting, and I can't find reference to it (yet ;)).

There is something going on in the UK for the Note 2 with an update notification, but the term, "ROM" is not mentioned.

Sorry to be of no help at the moment.. still looking around.

On your Note 2 or any Android device, you are rooted- not jailbrokenl that's an iOS thing.

Since you are running a custom rom I'd check to see if the update you're getting in your notifications is for the particular rom you're using. It's possible this may not be a carrier update. Wherever you got the rom from go back and check to see if it's been updated- that's a start in helping you figure this out.

Fine and thanks. Easy say - but how do I do this? As in - checking.
As of jail breaking. Well, best I know, I had around 3 hrs spent doing something custom from the guy named Andrew, I believe. That something installed custom CWM on my phone and, also, at the end said "you are jailbroken". Kidding you not. That was done besides rooting with JB. Have no doubt you know what I am referring 2. Had to download and isntall additional program, that did all this for the phone, awfully slow, but did. Also said, I can not use Odin anymore and any updates to be done off CWM.

I got it. JELLY BEANS has built in updater. That what was asking for update. I already have it installed, and I must say - wow, whole new phone! Tons of new stuff to learn.

Thank you all.
