Root OTA Software Update Fail

Is anyone else having issues with the new software / firmware push from Verizon? Mine has failed twice.

if you are rooted, you cannot accept an OTA unless your running the stock recovery, and have not deleted some important system files and apps.

there is a file called "updater" that you can freeze with titanium to stop the phone from trying to update.

what software version is the phone trying to install?

Hey Scotty! I am running the stock ROM, however I am rooted. I ran a restore on Titanium to restore the bloatware that I had taken off, but still no go. It appears to be a firmware push that is coming from Verizon.

It is happening to me too i cannot upgrade and i did exactly same thing undid the bloatware and all the rest i dont know whats going on.What do you think i shoud do Scotty i only did a temp root of the recovery like you suggested.

You could try using the stock recovery or booting amon to wipe cache,so that the ota has to re-download. Failig that, try a factory reset. Failing that, you must be missing something... you may need to relock and run an RUU for your currnent build
