Help OTA update Issues/troubleshooting

IF that doesn't work, try booting into recovery and performing a factory reset. That should clear all the caches ... something wiping only the system cache in stock recovery won't do.

Did they do it with the sim card inserted?

There's no reason for three phones to bootloop after an update unless there's something wrong with the update.

Anyone else seeing battery issues on MMB29S? My update happened yesterday and I've been seeing about 4% per hour battery loss without using the phone. It shows "Cell Standby" using the most battery.

Phone has been off shore power since 9am pacific. Cell standby shows 2% with the screen showing 6% as the most battery intensive line item. Which is normal since I'm keeping my phones screen on... ;)

Yeah security update, stock never rooted ...

Apologies, that's a term that's used among us sold school technicians in film and television. Shore power is from the mains or terrestrial rails.

Often being out on loc (on location) we use gennys (generators) for power.

I have a Nexus6 thru AT&T. Since I got the marshmallow update a few days ago, WiFi works for a few seconds and shuts off. Does not matter what the wifi source is. It is now useless on my phone. Ideas?

We do have a forum for Nexus 6. Maybe this should be moved over there.

My general guess of things to try, in order
1 - reboot phone (if you haven't already tried)
2- forget your wifi network and then log back into it
3 - clear cache in recovery
4 - Try a different wifi network (to make sure it's not just a problem with your network)
5 - If none of above works, reflash factory images. But if you have not previously unlocked your bootloader, this will require resetting your device.
