OTA update jan 8.

21:34 in rural Ohio with no updates, but that was expected. I didn't get the December update for almost a week after it was released.
 
nothing yet in Atlanta Ga... i didnt get the last update until a week after dec. 11 but that may be because i didnt buy mine until dec. 12 ... hope i get it soon.

Especially when they could have been more focus on the all important, supreme critical, life threatening YouTube problem. I mean, really, who gives a crap about people who can't use their phone at all when you can't watch 30 second videos of people get hit in the crotch.

Unless your phone is locking when coming out of sleep mode then you are in no hurry for this update. That's all that is fixed. Nothing more, nothing less. Mine was and it's fixed.

Anyone else find it mildly amusing (read, f*** you Verizon) that in the pdf detailing the patch they say it is intended to fix the "rare instances where the display locked"? Rare? Really? Coulda fooled me ... how many pages is that lock thread up to now??

So this update is for the locking/freezing issue?
 
No update here in Texas. Says my software version is 1.16.605.1 which I am thinking was the last update--the one in December???
 
Here in Denver Metro area in CO just got my droid yesterday it's the 1.16.605 build and no update for me. I'm not sweating it as I am not noticing any problems with it. But I am excited about the 2.0 update :)

LOL!! Always appreciate your sense of humor!! or should I say, sense of sarcasm!!
YouTube on my cell phone is not what I bought my phone for, if I want YouTube I simply use my laptop!

I appreciate that they got this update out as soon as they could, I came from the Blackberry Storm and I'd still be waiting to get an update to fix this issue! Thus the reason why my Storm is now a paper weight!

GPS reception is typically not that great while inside a building. Could it be that you tried to use your GPS while inside? :)

For the record, I've got the update and my GPS seems to work fine.
