Hi everyone I just received my HTC Desire. Even though Ive had it for less than a day, I've really fallen in love with it.
And this is my first android phone, so I have a lot of questions to ask (I came off of Windows Mobile).
I bought the phone unlocked and brand new from amazon:

I live in the United States and I am using AT&T.
Does this mean I can just hit "update" when I see the notification to update? I don't plan on rooting any time soon as I don't want to risk doing something stupid in the process and bricking my phone.
