Root OTA updates, need I unroot?

[whitenerj]

I've seen some feedback on this but nothing for sure. Does anyone know when the GPS fix update comes out next month and the Froyo update comes out, if we will have to unroot before installing? Will the updates affect the rooting of the phones and restore it back to bloatware?

Thanks
