Root OTA upgrades or anything else to disable if rooted?

Might be a newbie question, but does anyone know if there are huawei specific processes that run that for instance, look for updates and apply them?

I don't want an OTA for instance to meddle with my root access or anything else, and I'd rather not have any such thing running anyway. Thanks in advance.

Im assuming you used supersu. Or suoeruser, either way there's an option for ota survival.

yea gotta agree but still I don't think we will even get an ota anyway through the normal method, and the vitria does not have huawei's OUC(what they use instead of ota on many devices) anyway so you should be ok.

CoryMac247: I use superuser (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.superuser), but in addition to root surviving an OTA, I wanted to ensure an OTA wouldn't end up bricking the device anyhow. thanks!
