Help otg support for zte awe???

I recently bought a zte awe from virgin mobile and an otg cable with a 16 GB gorilla flash drive. I was wondering if anyone has successfully enabled otg on this phone. Thanx in advance for any help. BTW I am running cm.11 by phenom and have enabled my second core on my processor through android tuner.

I have tried it with an otg cable and thumb drives along with a wifi adapter. I have tried many of the otg helper apps with no success. Even the nexus media import app see's nothing. If are phone does support it then we would most likely need it to be enabled somewhere along with drivers. I don't think it does support it though.

Its disabled on stock kernel. Flashing any build of my kernel should enable it.

In the dev kernel thread I asked Spock if he could add it to his kernel. He said he would look into it but is afraid are phone wouldn't give power to the USB device which in my experience with rebomax's kernel he is correct. The kernel in help tester's needed thread was suppose to have otg support and I tested it and no programs seen anything connected. Non of the things I tried had any power. I don't have an otg y cable to power the device to try it.

I look forward to the results. Would be cool if you could add drivers for external wifi adaptors like the nexus 7. That's if it does work. Thanks for keeping us updated.
