For those of you who have OTG working on your evo v, what rom/kernel did you use? How did you get it to work?

Thanks

Wish that I knew, been trying to get this working since I've had the phone on June 1st. I've tried numerous combinations that have been posted with no luck so far.

Thanks guys. I registered at the anthrax forums and will check it out. Hopefully we can get this figured out.

Working 100%

Rom:
Harmonia
Kernel:
Anthrax
Cable:
Powered OTG cable from an S2. Must be powered.
(search for "Micro USB Host OTG Cable With USB power for Samsung S2 i9100 S3 i9300 i9220 9250" on Ebay)

At this point, a mouse or keyboard will work, even wireless. To get thumbsticks working, you need to make a directory on your SDcard called "usb" (all lowercase, no quotes) and install stickmount Anthrax Development - Home of the first custom shooter ICS kernel (registration needed).

It will NOT read NTFS, your stick will need to be fat32 or fat16 in order to be read. It also doesn't like micro sd adapters but it will handle a hub.

@ Leslie Ann after all this time are you telling me that you actually have it working? God I really hope so because I know that we've both been looking for a solution for quite awhile, especially on the hardware revision 2 phones. Which is basically everyone on Virgin. :D  p.s. I've searched and was unable to locate anything, do you have a link by any chance? I've only been able to find an adapter for the Galaxy Tab. He quietly crosses all of his fingers and toes in the corner hoping that no one noticed.

Yes, it really works.

Here is the cable I have.

It's a generic, powered OTG cable, ignore what phone it says it is for.

Thanks Leslie Ann! What if you are trying to use a powered device. Like say a ps3 controller. Do you still need a powered cable?

it would seem so. I got my unpowered OTG adapter yesterday and can't use anything with it, lol, even a ps3 controller.

Luckily it was only 99 cents shipped.

Bummer. I really wish we could re-build the blutooth stack in sense based roms so that we would have real functionality. Oh well, this is progress and we will see where it goes...
