What other forums do you guys/gals visit? I'm just trying to find some great places for Eris/app info...BTW this place rocks.
 
There are a few that I have visited in the past, but none of them seem to have as much Eris info as this forum does.

Same. Android Central is Crackberry's brother, but not too active. Droidforums looked good, but again, not very active. I pretty much only come here now.
 
this forum is simply the best one, If i did visit others i woudnt mentioned them here. dont want to advertise other forums here :), that would be wrong

It's alright to tell where all you go, or even reference if you find info people are looking for, elsewhere. We're not here to make it harder on people to find what the need. :)

What's not alright is creating an account here just to advertise, or simply actively trying to redirect traffic.
 
That was my opinion and how i feel, i wasnt saying it was a general policy :). but thanks for publicly clarifying it phases
 
Other forums? Huh, what? There are OTHER forums out there??? :rolleyes: None can compare to this one...
 
I found this forum when I Googled android phones, it was one of the first to come up. That tells me this is the most active and I never looked for another.
 
Pretty much an echo of what everyone is saying. Not only is this the best place for tips and FAQs, but this place really has a sense of community. Most everyone is here becuase they love Android. The mods are great, most of your senior members are great, ALL of your PREMIUM memebers are great lol. I am relatively new to forum life so i don't really know how it is elsewhere, but here I just get that warm and fuzzy feeling.

Wow pucker up. But I agree with most of it. This is the best place for eris info. Most of the other places I visit are general cell forums and none have the hometown feel of this one since alltels demise.
 
I still visit crackberry.com from time to time to talk smack about my superior device and decision making ability for having chosen Android. They don't like me there
 
Wow fanboys arent welcomed there? Pretty helpful folks there actually and as much as I like this phone I really don't have much bad to say about BB. They have there pluses too.

Loved my crackberry, still do. I enjoy debating the pros and cons of both. The fanboy concept is lost on me. We like device x, we are here or there to talk about device x and how it compares to device a, and we are fanboys, fanpersons, whatever because we are happy with a purchase we made. I drive a Ford focus for gas mileage, but i talk about the f150 I used to have because i miss it. Am I a fanboy, and just didn't realize I had the propensity to be one about everything? Is there a support group I can vent and do you have their number.
