Root Other GB Roms?

Hey guys,

I upgraded my phone to GB OTA but now I'm realizing I have to SBF back and take a different path in order to get root... but before I do that, I'm wondering if there are any other GB rooms that are better for the DX?! I'm not really enjoying the GB experience so far... particularly because Swype is so inconvenient with the new cut/paste popup, and none of the LED/notifications work

Does anybody have any other recommendations?? Perhaps I'll just stick with Froyo until motorola fixes GB.....

I'd say give GB another try. It's working fine for me. But as far as roms go there aren't many yet. ApeX RC1 is out. Liberty has a GB rom. Drew garren has a few out.

I'm using zombiestomped and I like it but it too has the swype annoyance and the LED problems. If these are things that bug you that much, then there is nothing wrong with SBF'ing back to froyo. personally though, I think gb is a considerable amount better than froyo. But most of that is due to intangibles. It just feels smoother and more polished.

OP try stock GB out again and make sure you start from a clean state. That should take care of your led problems.
