Other Hydro Uses?

Am getting a new Phone and am wondering what to do with my Hydro?

Appreciate any suggestions from others who have already found new uses for their Retired Hydros?

It's a good mp3 and video player. Also a good portable wifi connection (for browqsing, checking email, etc.) And a not too terrible little computer for running some utility apps.

yep i used mine at the pool today...underwater....cheap gopro. also the music worked underwater....lol

I am having a hell of a time writing this as it all goes away with out warning on me. Oh well anyway. I use an app called spare phone. Allows free wifi calling via VOIP and appears to be legal. You can call anyplace in the US with no charge. it's called spare phone and is available on the Google play store. The app itself is very small and works in tandem with Google voice. Get a free number from Google voice (instructions are provided by the app author) and your good to go. Rooting not required but I did it anyway . Having a spare phone around loaded with you favorite apps sure beats the trashcan for the thing. It's quite useable. If theres any interest,I will give my details.
