Someone told me that Google Maps does not work without an Internet connection(and it really does not)....so is there any other App which can work without connecting to the internet ?....(Im using Android 2.1) (Im currently in Saudi Arabia)
check for mapdroyd .. where you can download once the needed countries / maps / regions and then use offline without a internet connection.
But this is just a open street maps implementation (which might be not that accurate in SA) + there is no navigation module. its just a map that shows you your location.
