Accessories Otterbox and evo

i'm really digging the commuter case. the impact one is nice, too! but it's only silicone. man, i hope someone does reviews for both of those so we can get a better idea of how much bigger the phone is made with those cases :)

would like to see the case-mate tough case as well

I will wait and see. I have the Seidio Rugged and it is not up to their usual quality in my opinion. The rubber pulls up and away at the clip when you try and insert the phone; the cover over the charging port is not properly aligned, I have to pull the bottom down to insert the charger. My business partner has already broken one of the tabs that wrap around the corners just in normal use.

I will agree to the "red-headed step-child" syndrome from Otterbox, notice no cool colors for the Android phones, delayed production/release. iPhone is definitely their darling.
 
Dam I love how nice the Impact Series case look. I'm getting that once it's available.

I received my casemate tough case today for my evo and a lll I can say is awesome...great construction...and fits perfectly...I have had alot of different cases from seidio.otter box etc...and i have to honestly say this is the best case...it protects the phone but has ease of use for the buttons.and also the silicone sleeve under the one piece hard case does the perfect job of preventing any rubbing or scratches on the edges of the phone..that was a major issue I had with any seidio case...the casemate also comes with a screen protector but I am not using it since I have a clearvue protector on it..
 
I have a purple seidio innocase but now I want the casemate in pink but there out of stock.

How is that irrelevant?

No, the consumer base for the Evo would not be larger because of the other Android phones sold, but that was not the intent of my statement. Market share is one of the forces that drive new products, when you have a bigger share, you get more attention. Ignoring that because it means having to produce a more varied product line is fiscal stupidity.
 
Iphones have outsold Evos due to apple having years to create a huge pool of apple fanboys that will buy whatever they put out regardless of specs, issues with the product or regard for whatever else is available from other companies. Yes, they make a good product, but there are a VAST amount of people (lemmings?) that will buy anything with that shiny silver apple on the back... Argue if you like, but you'll be wrong..
