Accessories Otterbox case do not work with the docks such as the vehicle dock?

Now that the Atrix has been out for a while can someone confirm that the Otterbox case do not work with the docks such as the vehicle dock?
 
Not a chance it will work. The next best thing is to get a mount for a Garmin Nuvi 250 series. Very little modification to get it to work. I have a Defender and it works really well. Very solid mount.

Is there any way when using the Garmin dock that you can put the phone into car dock mode?
 
I use the defender case - it works great and has saved my phone on many occasions. Keep in mind that it is pretty big compared to the phone alone.
 
I have the outterbox commuter case and use an iGrip Extended car dock. Works great with my Atrix and case. You can charge it in the docket. I downloaded "Cardock" app from the market to use when docked. It's a simple car dock app that allows you to set up widgets, apps and short cuts on 5 home screens, in car dock mode. It's really simple and easy to use.
