Otterbox case for the HTC EVO 4G LTE.

I had the defender on my 3vo and it was a pain to get out of your pocket with the bulk and silicone on the outside. The defender is much better for pocket removal since the silicone is on the inside and plastic is outside.
I replaced the screen protector with ghost armor and it is great, wipes of finger prints super easy and its guaranteed for life. I'm planning on the defender with the ghost armor screen protector for my 4g lte.
 
I got the pink and white commuter at my store to try. Since I was buying the car dock I thought I'd get 20% off. I also have a purple surface seidio case coming. I have always done seidio and I love there active case the best but the one for the new EVO has it's own built in kickstand and doesn't have a cutout for the phones kickstand like the surface case does. But the Otterbox Commuter looks like there active case with the 2 parts and my Seidio Active didn't fit in my home or car dock but the suface case did. I would like for this one to fit but I don't think it will. I'll find out tomorrow.

I just bought my defender case for LTEVO for 47.11( I applied a 5$ discount i had) and I'm picking it up in store 5/24 recieved the email its ready for pick up. Go get it!!!

I like the Defender's belt clip. BTW, how easy is it to remove the Defender's screen protector and replace it with something custom, or just have it absent altogether?
 
I'm a huge fan of the Defender! I was a bit skeptical at first, but after using it for the last ~6 hours it's really grown on me. I'm using the screen protector that came with it and you really can't even tell it's there.

To top it all off, I'm not using the included belt clip. Fits in my pocket just fine. :)
 
Just to give you an idea... It's really not an overimposing case.

Is one really necessary, though? My OG EVO is 19 months old, and the screen on it looks brand new. I use one of those little chamois cloths for glasses to wipe it a couple times a day. I've dropped it a few times, but the case it's in right now has saved it. I guess I'm just wondering if a screen protector is really that necessary, especially in light of my current EVO's screen being kept so pristine.

As long as you keep it away from sand, it should be no problem. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is the same gg1 glass as the EVO but thinner. A screen protector is cheap insurance :)
 
I probably just got the best deal out of us all on my Defender case. I bought a BB Platinum Case yesterday because I need one on while Im at work from a BB Mobile Store. There were running a 20% accessory deal and I had 15 bucks in Reward Zone points. OUt the door the Platinum case was 13.00 bucks. Well today I call and they have the Defender. So I go to Exchange the cases. They do it all but forgot to add the 20% off coupon. So I paid 23.35. Then since they screwed up and didnt wanna mess with it the manger refunded me the whole 23 bucks.

In the end the Defender case cost me the 13 bucks I originally paid for the Platinum case. SCORE!!!!!
 
I called Best Buy today just to see if they had any since Amazon still was showing 2 - 5 weeks. They said they did and would hold it for me. I got the black one. But dang...this is a nice case. Compared to the og evo otter box where they used a crappy kick stand that broke...with this case they decided to use the LTEvo's own kickstand which is awesome.
