Just received an email that the Otterbox commuter case is now available for $34.99. I'll be curious about the reviews.

Yeah, I just got my email as well. It's funny because I logged onto their webpage to check at the same time I got the email.

What are the differences between the commuter and defender series (I know defender still isn't out)? It looks like the Defender has the silicone on the outer layer, as well as a built in screen protector and comes with a belt clip while the commuter has the silicone inside, plastic outside, with an optional screen protector.

I thought I would want the defender model, but I have an invisishield screen protector, so I don't really need the built in one on the defender.

Thoughts?

the only thing i didnt like when i had my iphone one is that the silcione on the sides gets loose after awhile and collects dust. im using the speck candyshell and love it. verizon has them
