Accessories Otterbox Commuter DHD

I got one a few weeks ago since I wanted to use my phone as an mp3 player and I only had the the pouch case. No complaints here so far (although as ever, every particle of dust you come into contact with will stick to the silicone part of the case :p).

I like the way the rubber on/off and volume switches make the phone more pleasant to use.

Yes, with my previous case, the volume button was so sensitive, it would often "accidentally" leave silent mode.
 
My case has also developed a crack from the top rounded out corner to the external speaker. This is weird because I always check the case after i've dropped the phone and it wasn't from a drop. Going to email otterbox and see what they say.

Emailed otterbox and six hours later I got an email saying they are sending me a new one. They didn't even ask me for a receipt, Weird.

I would imagine it's from pressing the power button hundreds of times.
 
Just got my replacement case delivered to me by fedex. Took six days from the day I emailed them. I am very impressed. I also recieved a full replacement, hard shell, silicone, and screen protector.

And they sent two otterbox stickers :)
 
Well i'm not very impressed with the durability of the otterbox cases. My replacement case has now developed a crack in the same place as my old one. Just emailed otterbox again.

where did you buy it from ?

also , would this be suitable as I would probably repetitively take it off ....
 
my Otterbox commuter has developed cracks in the same place too [identical to landovr's damage] (actually i see 3 out of four corners now have cracks :(..the bottom corner crack is so long its gone straight through the O of the "otter" logo part). i've not dropped the phone, and the case is only a couple of months old.
 
Mine has developed a crack too :(

I guess I'll drop them an email and see how it goes. It's a shame, I really liked the case.

(Side note: believe it or not, I'm not actually a professional photographer).
 
damage to my phone :) i've never dropped the thing either.
