Accessories Otterbox Commuter just hit.... linky

I was all hyped up about these cases from this forum until I went to best buy and played with an iphone 4 one. It didn't seem any nicer than any other case I've seen.
 
i loved my otterbox for my hero. made the phone a little bit more slippery, but the protection was among the best. Im curious about what it will do to the size of the evo and if there will ever be a belt clip. not to mention the port covers for the bottom of the phone. that was the only bad part of the hero case, sometimes came loose.
 
Coupon code no longer gives free shipping I guess. Lame. $36 and change out the door with the code now. At least I got my case...

Edit: I read some small print that stated free shipping is not available to my address. Normal city address in The bay area, CA. weak. I also never got an email stating the cases were available even though i'm on the list. Had it not been for you guys i'd still be waiting. THANKS! :)
 
I want to see video reviews on this and the Case Mate Tough before I decide which ones to buy. Does anyone know if the power/volume buttons are covered on this one?
 
Nice case. I wish it stated how much thickness it adds.

How does it compare in thickness to the Seidio Active case?

It looks like it adds a SIGNIFICANT amount of thickness considering it appears to have about a 2-3mm thick bevel over/around the camera... and we already know how far the camera sticks out. So we can see that it seems to be at least double the camera thickness overall.
 
I am using the case at the moment. I picked mine up from my local sprint store. I will try and do a review later but it's a good solid case. It obviously adds some thickness to the phone but any case will. I don't find the case over powering though at all. It almost feels no different to me than the seidio innocase II feels for the EVO.

FYI, It told me my address wasn't valid for free shipping so I "changed" the shipping address (to the same address, but filled it back in), and the free fedex ground went through. Worth a try if you get no free shipping.
 
Sure did. I called to ask if they would be carrying them and he said they got a shipment in this AM. So I went at my lunch and picked up.
 
I took the plunge earlier today. The Commuter Series just looked so sleek. What I like is the silicone/plastic combo. It didn't look thicker than my HTC silicone case. I just want it to repel dust... Anyway; I'm more than happy to pay a little more (and wait a little longer) for American-made products.
 
So I see some of yall have the case already and hasnt given a decent review I just want to see the thing in a video or just in action that would be great
