Accessories Otterbox Defender Pics

I'm still waiting for mine, directly from Otterbox.

What I do want to know is, if moving icons from one screen to another, with the case on, does your finger get caught on the edge of the case when trying to move the icon over?

I know it did on my iPhone case...

Before I got my Atrix I bought a cheapie leather case that surrounded the phone, and I also bought the Defender as I sometimes work on construction sites. When I got my phone I started off with the Defender, and it made the phone huge, which was fine I guess because it was protected. I used the Defender for a few days, and I definitely noticed that it was extremely difficult to move icons from one screen to another. It was impossible to do at times.

I switched to the cheap leather case that surrounds the phone and I haven't looked back since. It fits in my pocket better this way, and the phone is fully functional. I have also found that using the fingerprint scanner is a bit easier to do without the defender. It's easier to find.

Since everyone is different, I would suggest you go to AT&T and pick one up and try it out for a few days. If you don't like it, take it back; if you do like it, take it back and find it cheaper online.

I had to reregister my prints after putting on the case. After that, no problems. You're right about the store price though. Those guys are on crack!

The Defender definitely lives up to its name but I too feel it's an overkill. I use it while I am working but on the weekends, I prefer a thinner and lighter case. I'll feel better about using something with less protection once SGP comes out with a screen protector for the Atrix.

My biggest issue with the Defender- it like triples the weight of the phone and aesthetically speaking it's like putting a supermodel into a moo-moo...
