Help out going call.

When I place an out going call, I must turn my phone to speaker in order to hear the out going call ring and to hear someone answer. If someone calls me I must put the phone to speaker in order to answer it. What is wrong???

Tried turning it off? How long has this been going on?

Yes I have and it did not work. I also hard booted and it did not work as well.
