Arrhghg, I went to pick up an SII today, but every Phones4u branch within a 25 mile radius of me is out of stock! :mad: They don't know when it's due back in :(

Just had to vent. :p
 
my local said they will be getting a delivery on monday (yes bank holiday monday) they had sold their last one minutes before i walked in.
o2 get theirs on wednesday while carphone warehouse dont know when they will have stock and orange say june!!
 
Man it sucks, was well looking forward to getting it! I'll consider going in on Monday, but will definitely try next thursday after work.
 
My local P4U sold out less than an hour after getting them in on the 27th. I expect more stock will be in more shops on Tuesday.
 
picked mine up in Colchester, they said 20 had come in and had sold all but 2, I had it put to one side. I really think this is going to be the biggest selling android handset to date.

I got 18 Month Dolphin 500 mins, 3000 texts, 500mb on Orange
 
Yes it is which is something I've never understood but I hate the thought of being tied in to any deal.

I've only had my Galaxy S for 4 months and now I'm free to buy an S2, pop my SIM in and off we go WOOOHOOO! :D

PS who wants to buy an immaculate, SIM FREE Galaxy S? ;) :D
 
Based on everything I'm hearing from the large number of smartphone enthusiasts I know, this phone is going to be very hard to get, as demand is universal.

Mines going to be here on Tuesday, it was delayed because of the Royal Wedding. The bad news is, I'm going on Holiday on Monday!

GPS is fine. I get a lock in about 10 seconds indoors. No lag, they fixed the SGS1's UI lag and the general performance is of course excellent. The camera seems OK, nothing special. Better than HTC, not as good as Nokia, in my experience (listed in my sig). Call quality has been fine, I haven't done any serious checks but I've heard everyone OK and they've heard me fine. I don't know if it has noise cancelling. Boot up speed is a lot better than my Desire or Hero, shutdown is a little faster.
