Help outgoing mails for Stock Email app

Hi,

I have configured the stock email app for my corporate account which uses exchange server. I am able to receive emails perfectly well, but outgoing doesn't work. Any mail I compose and send, or do a reply gets stuck and doesn't come out of the outbox. Any clues?

Phone - LG nexus 4, Android 4.2.2

Exchange Email has always been wonky in the stock AOSP email app. Most people who need to use exchange Email tend to use another client like touchdown or k9 for their mail. Touchdown is amazing for this, but is a little on the expensive side.
