Help Outlook Calendar Problem

On the HTC running Gingerbread Android, I have the problem that when I have a customised entry in my Outlook it keeps re-appearing on my phone everyday in stead of on the day that the appointment is happening.

For example I have an entry that occurs on the first monday of every month. This means the date is different for every month. However On the HTC the reminder keeps popping up every day. It is almost as if the HTC cannot understand how to customize it.

Is there an app or a way to fix this so I can have customized entries like the above?

Does it show on your calendar every day or is it just the reminder popping up? If just the reminder then I suspect it may be a problem with your reminder settings in Outlook or the Calendar app, but not sure what. I don't have this problem, but then I don't use reminders because I find them annoying.

Thanks for the response.

The appointment shows every day on the phone.

However the Outlook event is every first working day of the month. This is where the problem comes in. The Android app. does not know how to interpret that correctly and as such place it in everyday of the week.

When I go into the Android calender app and select edit event and click on custom reminder, it shows at the bottom Custom Event (No customisation). This tells me either the app itself cannot customise it to what the user wants or there is an add on that needs to be installed to fix this.

Any suggestions please?
