Root Over clocked kernel on stock rom?

This maybe a very stupid however I've searched these threads quickly as well as the net for a quick fix.

In a nutshell my girlfriend has the Admire.
I have it fully rooted with cwm & she's running the stock rom (minus some bloatwear I removed)..

Now comes the time were we want this cell overclocked to at least 900MHZ.
Does anyone know of were or what kernel I can install (flash with cwm of course).
Already have SetCPU ready.. Just need a modified kernel for stock.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Was hoping there was another alternative then installing Stock++.
Guess I'll give it a go..

Thanx for the heads up towards not going above 850..
Odd as many cells can handle at least 200mhz above stock..
If anything I guess a new cell may be in the works for my woman to fill her needs.

ya this is the closest to stock that will run off the oc kernel. being deodexed will make this fly i havent noticed any better performance with 900, but for sure with 850. poor little phone.
 
900 doesn't give problems to everyone, only to certain Admire's, every batch of phones is different even if they are the same phone. I can run 900/900, performance governor with no problems or reboots.
 
Instead of flashing a ROM why not flash the CM7.2 Kernel with Req0's recovery, you can still run stock instead of having to delete everything. However, Stock++ is nice.
