Help Over-sensitive back key?

Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this with their Play? Sometimes when using the back button it appears to register multiple times. For example if I am using an app, and I wish to simply go back to the menu, it seems to quit the app alltogether. Is this a common issue with the Play? Thanks!
 
No issue with Verizon play. Not sure what model you guys are using but never had a back button issue. Only issue I have is certain apps not wanting to update since 2.3.3.
 
Thanks guys! Could possibly be a batch of them with the fault. At first I thought I was just being clumsy but its really starting to bug me now!
 
Yeah mines 7 weekz old? And I have no problems. Possibly just a bad batch, take it in and request a new one. Mine is verizons verison.
 
Im considering taking it back. Im still waiting for my 2.3.4 update. Im on Orange (UK) but the phone is not branded with their logo, doesnt have their firmware (as far as I can tell anyway) and didnt come in an Orange box. Despite this, my phone is adamant it has the latest software. Perhaps I will wait and see if the update fixes the issue, if I ever get the update that is...
 
It has no water damage or anything. Whenever I press the back key once it seems to back out two or three times.. is there any way I can fix this? Its really annoying!
 
I think it has to do more with the firmware. When I was running verizon's 2.3.2 and 2.3.3 firmwares, I never had the problem. Now that I am running the 3.0.1.A.0.145 firmware from the UK, I get the problem now and again.
