Help Overactive phone

I'm sorry you're going thru the same stuff I did, but now I'm sure I'm not crazy. ;) I know how annoying it is. I am on Verizon and they tried to be helpful but Verizon has changed their policy for switching phones, even refurbished. It used to be easy, no more. If you want to try switching, you probably have a good chance to get a better phone. My second M8 is much better than the first. You must have received your phone less thsn 14 days when you call. They will probably give you some resistance and eventually make you do a factory reset. Stand firm but polite. Hopefully you'll get a better phone. I tried to include the software numbers from my phone. Two other things to consider; 1. I've been with Verizon for 14 years which probably affected their actions and 2. within the next month or so we should be updated to Android 4.4.4 and by Jan 2015 they say we're getting Android 5. Write me if you want more info. You can see the screenshot by tapping it & selecting "view in browser".

Yes I am still with Verizon, just snagged an update from a family member in exchange for my moto x (2013). I'm gonna keep playing with it, see if it irons itself out. I'll definitely try out dolphin browser, see if that helps. I'll report back in a few days.

Also I'm running 4.4.4

Would like to update on this. I did a factory reset 2 nights ago, and my experience could not be any better. It's a lot less twitchy than it was previous. Overall the rest of the phone improved, regarding battery life and functionality, and other little issues I couldn't stand with.

My guess is that, when I first got the phone, I tried updating but it never showed any updates available. So I went ahead setting up the phone, my apps and preferences. And then after that I got the updates. So maybe something I had didn't sit right once the updates applied.
