Root overclock app vs. script

so I am trying to use the jrummy overclocking script to do what everyone is setting in the overclocking app he has available. is it possible to do that or are there limitations in using the script?

i can't seem to find anywhere in the script to set custom settings like everyone is doing.

i set mine under Set Scaling frequencies but i would like to know how other people do theres cause there is a possibility i am doing mine wrong
