Overclock question on galaxy s2

Newbie
Hi, I just install the new kernel Agat GB27 V 1.3 and overclock to 1600 max and the 100 for the min, but I don't see any changes on my phone regarding speed, run benchmark and find out that I had more score with the stock kernel, Is anything else that I need to do so the phone can run faster for games? I'm running GB27 stock rooted version. Sorry for ask this questions I'm new on overclocking.

Thanks

100 for the minimum is a bit low, if you are wanting decent performance do 200 minimum, Ondemand governor and noop IO scheduler. Also, pushing it to Max OC is not always a good idea. Some processors can't really handle it.

Thanks for the help, I just changed to 1500 max and 200 min, on CPU master and my score still below stock, do I need to do a fresh install again? maybe another rom?

What scores are you actually getting at normal stock Speeeds of 1200? Which ROM are you on now? The Benchmark isn't the "End All" when it comes to how well your phone is operating. Rarely is your phone doing one thing only. More importantly is how long your phone is at its max clock speed. Unless you are in a very heavy 3D gaming app, your processor should spend little time at its max on a smoothly running system. Take this example: though my phone has been active for 31% of the time, max clock speed only accounts for 4%

my score is 8955 on stock, 8628 on 1600MHz using cpu master, 8215 on 1500MHz, Im using Kobridge's_Stock_Rom_vGB27DS.

Are you by chance on the pegasus governor? If so try changing to Ondemand then run your test again. (Don't reboot after changing your governor in case you have a boot script that is setting it). I am between scoring 10,400 and 10,550 at 1200 Mhz at the moment.

Im on the Governor Ondemand since the beginning? sorry to ask but what rom are you in? maybe I can try that one on a fresh start since I have all back up, and also a quick question, which roms are compatible with this Kernel Agat GB27 V 1.3?

How is your score so High...I never have over 8500. Even over clocked

When I left ICS to the TW JB my scores went up. I Don't run lots of bloat apps and don't keep a ton of widgets running.

Here is my score running Wild for the Night:
