Root Overclock question

Is qualcomm standards ok for overclocking or would it burn out my phone faster?

The more you overclock, the faster your battery will drain. I recommend going with either 1100 GHz on Lagfree, or 1296 on On Demand.

Overclocking any phone would probably burn it out faster then if it wasn't. It all depends on what you overclock it to and if your phone can handle it. All phones are different even if there the same model. Example: I might be able to overclock mine at 1.7ghz but your phone might not be able to handle it and could burn out quicker. It all depends on the phone...If you overclock your phone and it starts rebooting randomly it could mean that your phone can't handle what you overclocked it at...

The SoC from Qualcomm used on this phone is actually rated stock at 1.5 Ghz, HTC underclocks it for improved battery life.
