Root Overclocking Nootr'd Nook (Is there a Guide?)

Hello All!

Just bought my nook color and have nootered it (2.12), enjoying ADW launcher.

Is there a step by step on how I can get it overclocked? I'm a layman and need some help!

Thanks All! --MQ

1. Install clockwork recovery from market
2. Boot into recovery do a backup
3. Download the kernel you want to flash 950, 1ghz or 1.1 ghz
[Kernel][Eclair][Froyo] Overclocked@1.1ghz -**Froyo Test**- [1/24/11] - xda-developers
4. Put on the kernel on the sd card
5. Boot into recovery flash the kernel
6. I think you will need a cpu program to overclock I use set cpu

Read the comments in the threads and decide what's best for you. There is always danger when flashing zip files you can damage your nook. I personally haven't had any problems but I read all 20 pages of a thread before I go flashing anything. Hope this helps.

Overclocked, seemed a little faster, but touchscreen lost responsiveness... wiped and renootered. Don't think i.ll overclock if this is the side effect...
