overclocking or changing cpu?

im all about the tech and messing with tech, but my experience is laptops and PCs, so this is kind of a new thing for me

is it possible to either overclock the cpu or replace it with something faster? maybe theres something out there that uses the same socket and is a mite faster that the phone can handle?

id be willing to pull the phone apart and risk having to get a new phone (asturion accident insurance ftw, can just tell them it fell into a wood chipper or got hit with a chainsaw or something) if this were feasible.

There are not interchangeable parts, like a new processor, but you can root the phone and overclock it that way.

If you are running 1.5, I would suggest heading over to the Eris root section and getting a tutorial on it and get going.

If you went the leak route, you're kinda stuck with just 2.1 (as compared to root users who have a "jailbreak" of their phone and can run 2.1 using a custom ROM provided by developers).

there'd be more droids regardless. but no one is thinking about the long term implications of this invasion of droids...one of these days, some day soon, they will have an entire droid army, which we'll need a clone army to defeat, and then the clones will take over.

and this 'some day soon' will likely be sometime in 2012
