overclocking... what is safe?

I want to overclock my rooted hero. Wanted to know if anyone could help with the risks of overclocking....

im pretty sure its clocked pretty high now..i dont think you will really get that much more out of it.if you over clock it can be very bad for the phone possible of bricking it?i know someone who messed up their pre when i had mine cause he used a patch to over clock the processor...idk if you should mess to much with overclocking.
